TivoliToo (Tivoli Too, Inc.) is honored and excited to introduce new products to the Peanuts brand under the Dimensional Fine Art category.  This new and innovative approach to celebrate the artwork of Charles M. Schulz is created based on the essence of his actual work.  The product line is inspired by the imagery created by Schulz transitioned from 2D into a variety of 3D art pieces.

TivoliToo’s history working directly with Charles Schulz and the Peanuts brand and their love of the Peanuts characters has inspired them to create this product line so the wonderful imagery and artwork that Charles Schulz created can be enjoyed through a variety of unique dimensional art pieces that capture the spirit, thoughtful life experiences, lessons, messages and happiness of Schulz’s work.

TivoliToo was established in 1980 as Tivoli Jewelers by Randi S. Johnson in St. Paul, Minnesota. As an artist, designer and sculptor, Randi used her entrepreneurial spirit and her creative talents to create custom jewelry.  In 1984, Randi came up with the idea to design and create a line of custom themed charm bracelets.  In 1985, her father suggested creating a licensed charm bracelet using the Monopoly icons to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Monopoly.  Randi was able to acquire the license to the Jewelry Category for Monopoly through Parker Brothers and she then acquired similar licenses and agreements for several other brands and characters including Disney, Warner Bros., Mattel, King Features, United Feature Syndicate, Major League Baseball and others.

Growing up in the same hometown as Charles Schulz grew up in and reading the Peanuts Comic Strips, Randi always loved the Peanuts characters and had an emotional connection for the work of Charles Schulz.  In 1989, Randi sent a sample of one of her character charm bracelets and a letter to Schulz asking him if he would allow her to create a Peanuts Charm Bracelet as part of her themed charm bracelets line.  Randi then asked if she could visit Schulz’s Studio in Santa Rosa, California to discuss her idea further.  Randi and her brother, Hart Johnson, who was working with Randi on business development, flew to Santa Rosa.  While meeting with one of Schulz’s team members, Schulz joined the meeting unexpectedly.  There was an immediate bond and friendship created by Schulz with Randi and Hart and the approval to create a licensed charm bracelet and collection of jewelry was agreed upon by Schulz.  This meeting in 1989 was the start of a friendship and working relationship between Schulz and TivoliToo that lasted through the rest of Schulz’s life and continues to this day with the Schulz family and the Peanuts brand. 

TivoliToo has worked closely through the years with the Peanuts Team and has created many different Peanuts sculptures for a variety of clients and uses. A few of the highlights include the PEANUTS ON PARADE Statues in St. Paul and Santa Rosa from 2000 - 2010 as well as the Peanuts Bronze Sculptures in St. Paul and in Santa Rosa.  Also, a variety of themed Peanuts Character Sculptures throughout the US and Canada in many of the Cedar Fair Amusement Parks.

Today, Randi continues as the Owner, President and creative visionary of TivoliToo and Hart is the Chief Operating Officer.  Together they lead the company of incredibly talented artists and fabricators specializing in designing and creating a wide variety of 3 dimensional themed elements for many different uses and market segments for many universally recognized brands. 

Randi, Hart and all of the TivoliToo Team hope that the Dimensional Fine Art pieces they are creating using the artwork and imagery created by Charles Schulz and the talents of the TivoliToo Team can help more people enjoy the amazing work of Charles Schulz through a different medium but with the same spirit as his original artwork itself. Through a variety of art pieces, TivoliToo hopes to continue to bring smiles and happiness to all who see them for many years to come!
